BT Properties officially commenced construction of Waada today, as dignitaries and stakeholders gathered at the project’s Dubai South site for the earth-breaking ceremony.
This landmark moment marks the transition from vision to reality for one of Dubai’s most anticipated master-planned communities.

Ceremony Highlights
Date & Site: 4 August 2025, at Waada’s site office, just minutes from Expo City Dubai and Al Maktoum International Airport.
Development Plan: A vibrant mix of integrated landscaping, high-rise apartments, townhouses, villas, and signature mansions.
Timeline: Scheduled for handover in Q4 2028, with a flexible 70/30 payment plan, including post-handover options.

Building the Future, Today
This groundbreaking is the first of many steps toward Waada’s long-term vision:
A community designed for human comfort and sustainability—featuring workplaces, schools, parks, healthcare facilities, retail boulevards, and cultural centres.
Local suppliers and construction partners were present, reaffirming their commitment to using materials and manpower sourced primarily from the UAE and GCC, in line with BT Properties’ global licensing and sustainability standards.
